Google Chrome làm đóng băng Explorer của Windows 7 64bit!

Sau một thời gian sử dụng trình duyệt web Google Chrome, cay đắng với nó cũng rất nhiều, nhiều lúc làm cho tính mình nóng lên luôn, đang dùng tự nhiên bị Crash, crash liên tục, crash làm cho mất đi tính nhẫn  nại luôn, nhưng chuyện này cũng không phải của riêng mình, một số người cũng đã và đang bị tình trạng này giống mình, sau đây là một số cảm nhận của riêng mình về việc Crash và Freezes Explorer.

1. Windows 7 không bản quyền dễ bị crash với Google Chrome.
2. Windows 7 64bit dễ bị crash hơn Windows 7 x86.
3. Các trang web load FLASH nhiều dễ bị crash.
4. Chromes bị xung đột với chức năng "Use advanced browser integration" của chương trình Internet Download Manager (ver 5.x) làm cho Explorer của Windows bị đóng băng.

Để Internet Download Manager hỗ trợ việc capture link để download trong Chrome, thì bạn phải bật tính năng "Use advanced browser integration" tuy nhiên tính năng này thường xuyên làm cho Explorer của Windows 7 64bit bị đóng băng (Freezes) khi bạn mở Chromes với nhiều TAB, khi đó bạn không sử dụng được Explorer và có cảm giác Windows mình đang bị treo vậy, chỉ còn sử dụng được tổ hợp phím Ctrl + Alt + Delete, thật là cảm giác khó chịu, để giải quyết vấn đề này, chúng ta đành phải hy sinh, không dùng tính năng "Use advanced browser integration", đợi khi nào có version 6.x của IDM, tác giả IDM đã report trong version 6.x sẽ fix các lỗi xung đột với Chrome….

Blind MySQL injection and database stressing

Complete with the rest of Mysql blind injection papers in the web.

Currently tools are being used to get SQL data from a blind (Microsoft) sql injection, like datathief of absinthe. The problem in Mysql is the dificulty to get the database structure. In Mysql there are no Objects database or alike, so it’s not possible to create an stored procedure to walktrough a database catalog as these programs do with other database managers.

The approach explained here is from a web service viewpoint. It’s, from a web service vulnerable to sql injection.

How to Find files on your computer with find ?

A standard Linux system has an incredible amount of files installed. Looking for a file location can be a painful task to do though a file browser.

Fortunately, there is a nifty command line available by default on any Linux distribution: find.

find can virtually find anything on your computer and comes with a lot of options. This tutorial will introduce a basic use of it and show how you can search your filesystem for file names matching a name pattern.

On Debian based distros, find is part of the package findutils. find allow one to search for files on a filesystem based on different condition, creation date, modified date, file size, file type, permissions, name ….

In this tutorial, I will be focused on finding files/directories based on their name, in order to explain in more depth the syntax of find, I will also show how you can narrow down your search by adding condition on size and file modification time.

This will suit most searches, if you need more details, I would recommend looking at the find’s manpage. (more…)

SSH Tunnel by Putty !

First of all, if you dont know what an ssh tunnel is, go read up. (wikipedia would be a good choice)
Second of all, this tecnique will only work for linux, so, if you got windows, your in the wrong place.

For more ease, get/use firefox.

SSH tunnels arent hard, yet, they give alot of annomity, much more than a public proxy can offer.

Through this method of making a SSH tunnel, you need to download Putty. This program is a very handy tool.
